#MarchMeetTheMaker - Day 19
Day 19 - Silver Linings
It's a bit of a cryptic one this morning but there was one thing that popped into my head and that is:
My Silver Lining is : That I can work from home!
I have always said that I would love my own shop one day (and I still would!)
When I ran the Pop Up Shop for 2 weeks and I got to decorate the place exactly how I wanted it with bunting at the windows and shorts hanging up all over the place with photos on the wall and racks of clothing and Pink / Sparkly decorations. I joked that it looked like the inside of my brain.
And that is exactly what my Sewing room came to be!
When Covid first broke out, I thanked my lucky stars that I didn't have to close a physical shop and that I could still run my business as best I could from home. I wasn't shielding because I was still working at Spar but it meant that I could spend atleast half the time staying safe whilst still working.
This isn't to say I wouldn't still love my own shop one day - because I really, REALLY would! But for the mean time, I am absolutely obsessed with my Sewing room and I love being able to work from home half the time. I love being able to Sew and have all my things to hand whilst catching up with my soaps (don't judge) and being able to potter around the house. I am so grateful for being able to do this.
