Fridays sewing class
A few weeks ago we had a “Dress Making Basics” lesson where we learnt how to insert a zip, use interfacing, sew a button hole, have a play with sewing in elastic for the first time, etc.
Today we put all those skills together and made these lovely little make up bags. Complete with a handmade bias binding topped patch pocket, (on the inside) a contrast lining and a zip fastening. Well done ladies!
If you are interested in sewing classes, these classes run from Holker Village Hall every Friday morning. 10-12pm. £15 per session.
