This week I watched the third film from my Film Bucket List (the 2nd I will mention in a bit) I am watching these really slowly and need to hurry up if I'm going to watch them all before the end of the year.
FILM: The Age of Adaline
OVERVIEW: As soon as this was recommended by Netflix, I knew I had to watch it. I was drawn in by the thumbnail alone. And who doesn't love Blake Lively?
CAST: Blake Lively, Harrison Ford
PLOT: Without giving too much away because it really is a great film - Adaline Bowman is born in 1908, she gets married and has a daughter and loses her husband. Shortly after she has a car accident which stops her aging any older than her 29 years. Each 10 years she must undertake a new ID so no one can discover her secret. She lives for the next 60 years covering her tracks until she meets someone from her past and the story evolves from there.
OVERVIEW: The idea behind the film is simple - but genius! I did start off wondering what I was watching, but I was soon hooked. It's haunting and definitely worth a watch!
I am now obsessed with the name Adaline! It is very pretty!
